Labour Party Senator Defects To APC
The only member of the Labour Party in the Senate, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege (Delta Central), has announced his defection from the party to the majority All Progressives Congress.
Senator Omo-Agege made the announcement on the floor of the plenary on Tuesday.
He based his decision on the internal crisis rocking the Labour Party as reason for his defection.
