Kwankwaso Mourns Emir of Gumel Ahmad Muhammad Sani II
Former Kano State Governor and leader of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, has expressed deep sadness over the death of the Emir of Gumel, Alhaji (Dr.) Ahmad Muhammad Sani II.
Kwankwaso, in a condolence message, described the late monarch as a distinguished and far-sighted leader who devoted more than 45 years to the service and development of the Gumel Emirate.
He said the late Emir would be remembered for his dedicated leadership and the remarkable heights to which he guided the traditional institution during his long reign.
“I am deeply saddened by the passing of His Royal Highness, the Emir of Gumel, Alhaji (Dr.) Ahmad Muhammad Sani II,” Kwankwaso said.

He extended his condolences to the late Emir’s family, the Gumel Emirate, as well as the people and Government of Jigawa State.
Kwankwaso prayed to Almighty Allah to forgive the deceased’s shortcomings and grant him eternal rest in Jannatul Firdaus.
The former governor also urged the family, the emirate and the people of Jigawa State to find strength in the late monarch’s long years of service and contributions to the community.
