KILLER OF MOTORBOY IN ABEOKUTA TO BE ARRAIGN THURSDAY

The alleged killer of a motorboy in Abeokuta, Ogun State,Capita  Tunde Olatubosun would on Thursday  be arraigned before a magistrate court sitting in Abeokuta,Dailydispatch can authoritatively revealed
The Ogun State Police Command Public Relations Officer,Abimbola Oyeyemi on Tuesday confirmed the development to our correspondent adding  that,the suspect is to face murder charge.
It  would be recalled that,the 49 year old gunman‎ on Saturday April 29 was at  a carwash centre located along Sam Ewang Estate,Abeokuta, to wash his car. On completion of his car wash he alleged that the fuel tanker the boy was working with blocked his passage.
The‎ trailer registration number TTD 456XA with inscription NIPCO,was also brought to the carwash centre for washing,and parked opposite the centre,awaiting when there would be a parking space.
The‎ driver was said to have take a stroll within the vicinity, when the gunman approached the motorboy sitting inside the truck and in anger pumped bullet on the innocent boy,who died instantly.
The gunman thereafter manovenuer his way with his unmarked Sienna car and fled the scene after the crime. He allegedly ran to Republic of Togo
‎However, police exhibited proactive into investigation and less than 4 hours the profile of the suspect was uncovered through the coveted use of technical on intelligence.
Based on information,the Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad,operatives went into full scale deployment of technically driven intelligence investigation and able to trace and lure the culprit back to Nigeria, and got him arrested two days after the crime.
The police commissioner, Ahmmed Ilyasu also added that preliminary investigation so far revealed that the suspect is a leader of a notorious armed bandit terrorizing Abeokuta and its environs,while the gang is said to be into snatching of vehicles,kidnapping and impersonating as military officer to dupe unsuspecting members of the public.
Ilyasu disclosed that, exhibits recovered from the suspect include, one ava pump action gun with serial number 15-0083, 43 live cartridges, 2 camouflage army trousers, one camouflage army knicker,one camouflage army jungle cap and 7 pairs of different vehicle plate numbers.
Similarly, the suspect earlier in an interview with journalists,at Eleweran Police Headquarters where he was being held,  confessed that,he shot the victim dead,but had to fled the scene,when it dawned on him.
He also affirmed the report that, he reacted in anger on observing that, the truck was blocking passage after he had completed wash of his car, adding that,he didn’t delibrately shot the boy, but it was in the process of argument between the two of them,that the gun exploded.
