Just In: Uba Sani relaxes 24-hour curfew in Kaduna, Zaria
Uba Sani, governor of Kaduna, has relaxed the 24-hour curfew imposed in the state to checkmate the breakdown of law and order during the #EndBadGovernance protest.
In a statement on Wednesday, Samuel Aruwan, the overseeing commissioner for ministry of internal security and home affairs in Kaduna, said the curfew has been reviewed to be from 8am to 6pm daily, effective from August 8.
On Monday, the Kaduna state government announced a 24-hour curfew following reported cases of looting during the protest.
