Just In: Lagos PDP ex-deputy gov candidate, ex- deputy state chairman, publicity secretary join APC
Safurat Abdulkareem, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) deputy governorship candidate in the 2015 Lagos State elections; former Deputy State Chairman, Chief Ola Apena; and the PDP State Publicity Secretary, Mr. Hakeem Ambode, have officially defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Their defection was announced during a press conference held on Monday at the Lagos4Lagos Movement secretariat in Ikeja.
This move comes as earlier reports had exclusively revealed plans for the defection of the former PDP deputy governorship candidate, the party’s spokesman in Lagos, and several 2023 House of Assembly candidates to the APC. (Source: Western Post)
