Journalisit appeals for financial assistance to treat wife’s breast cancer
Benin-based journalist, Mr. Lucky Ighomuaye, has appealed to well-meaning Nigerians for financial assistance in the sum of one million naira for the treatment of his wife, Mrs. Benedicta Ighomuaye, who is suffering from breast cancer.
‘The Delta State born journalist, but resides in Benin, narrated that his wife had successfully undergone surgery and chemotherapies sessions at the University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH), Benin City, Edo State capital.
Ighomuaye confirmed that the doctor in charge said to avoid further spread, his wife needed to repeat the process due to some complications and it will require about N1 million for another round of complete chemotherapies.
“I have spent all my savings on the previous exercise. I am appealing to the Edo State government and other well-meaning Nigerians to come to my assistance to enable me give her the needed treatments,” he said.
