Jonathan Praises Abdulsalami Abubakar for making democracy possible

Former President Goodluck Jonathan has praised General Abdulsalami Abubakar for making democracy possible in Nigeria.

Jonathan said Nigerian current democratic experience would not have been possible if General Abdulsalami Abubakar had not surrendered himself to be used by God as a pencil in the Hand of the Creator.

In his birthday message to Abubakar, Jonathan said: “All Nigerians owe a debt of gratitude to this democratic icon and as you celebrate your 75th birthday today, my family and I join millions of Nigerians and lovers of Nigeria to wish you a happy birthday.”
