Iyaoloja of Abuja, Toyin Badmus, buried amid tears

The remains of the Iyaoloja of Abuja, who died on Sunday, April 15, 2023 were laid to rest amid tears from family, friends and political associates at Gudu cemetery.

The Chief Imam of National Mosque, Abuja, Professor Ibrahim Maqari, who led the funeral prayer, prayed to Allah to forgive the deceased.

The funeral prayer was attended by people from different walks of life, including, members of the Tinubu Support Group, the All Progressive Congress, market women association among others.

Chief Mrs Toyin Badmus, was a staunch supporter of the President-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Badmus, who was president of the Asiwaju Women Cooperative Society (AWCS), member of Tinubu Support Group (TSG) and member of All Progressives Congress National Women Lobby Group, died in an undisclosed hospital in the federal capital.
