INEC gives nod to David Mark-led ADC leadership

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has formally recognised the newly constituted National Working Committee (NWC) of the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

In its latest update published on the commission’s website, INEC confirmed former Senate President David Mark as the party’s national chairman.

Others listed as principal officers include former Osun State governor Rauf Aregbesola, who assumes the role of National Secretary; Dr. Ibrahim Mani, National Treasurer; Akibu Dalhatu, National Financial Secretary; and Prof. Oserheimen Aigberaodion Osunbor, National Legal Adviser.

With INEC’s endorsement, the David Mark-led team is set to commence reconciliation and mobilisation drives aimed at repositioning the ADC for greater relevance ahead of the 2027 general elections.
