Ifunanya accused of smoking hemp, nudity officially replies NBA

A young lawyer, Ifunanya Excel Grant, who was accused by the Nigerian Bar Association of unacceptable behaviour on social media has replied to the body.

The Eagle Online recalls that the lawyer was dragged before the Legal Practitioners Disciplinary Committee by the NBA.

The NBA took the decision to report Grant to the LPDC, also known as the Baddest Lawyer, following her appearance on the social media virtually nude and smoking Indian hemp.

Grant, in a statement she said was her official reaction to the NBA on Thursday, asked to be left alone.

She said she is not a practicing lawyer, never appeared on Twitter and remains a model and actress as a means of earning her living.

She wrote: “My official statement to the NBA And Nigerians. 

“Please I’m not the one on Twitter I have never been in Twitter.

“I have been silent for so long because I’m not the type to talk too much but it’s finally time I speak up & clear my name. 

“Dearest @Nigerianbar I don’t bother anyone. 

“I’m a model, actress and musician and all I do is live, mind my business and chase my dreams. 

“Please, kindly leave me alone 🙏🏿 Thanks.”
