iDICE National Coordinator Ife Adebayo to Deliver Keynote at QEDNG Creative Powerhouse Summit 2.0

The National Coordinator of the Investment in Digital and Creative Enterprises (iDICE) programme at the Bank of Industry (BOI), Ife Adebayo, has been announced as the keynote speaker for the QEDNG Creative Powerhouse Summit 2.0 scheduled to hold on Tuesday, August 11, at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos.

The announcement was made on Wednesday by Mighty Media Plus Network Limited, publishers of the online newspaper QEDNG.

With the theme, “Creativity, Culture and Nigeria’s Next Chapter,” this year’s summit will explore how stronger collaboration among government, investors and stakeholders in the creative industry can drive economic growth, create jobs and promote sustainable development.

A technology and innovation expert, Adebayo brings over 16 years of experience across Germany, the United Kingdom and Nigeria, where he has led programmes focused on innovation, entrepreneurship and enterprise development in both the public and private sectors.

He currently heads the African Development Bank-supported iDICE programme at the Bank of Industry, overseeing the implementation of the $617 million initiative aimed at strengthening Nigeria’s technology and creative ecosystem through skills development, startup financing and improved business support.

Prior to his current role, Adebayo served as Special Assistant on Innovation to the Nigerian Vice President between 2015 and 2023, advising the Federal Government on innovation policies and strategies for the country’s digital technology and creative sectors.

His professional experience also includes working on development projects supported by global institutions such as the World Bank, African Development Bank, French Development Agency and Islamic Development Bank.

Adebayo holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Ilorin and a master’s degree in Business Information Systems from the University of East London.

Speaking on the choice of keynote speaker, QEDNG Publisher, Olumide Iyanda, described Adebayo as a leading voice whose experience aligns with the summit’s objectives.

“This year’s summit is about shaping Nigeria’s next chapter through creativity and culture. That conversation cannot happen without addressing innovation, investment and the policies that help creative businesses grow. Ife Adebayo brings practical experience from working at the centre of those conversations, and we are delighted to have him deliver the keynote address,” Iyanda said.

Adebayo succeeds Dr. Nkiru Balonwu, founder of The Africa Soft Power Group, who delivered the keynote at the maiden edition of the summit in 2025. The inaugural event brought together key figures from government, business and the creative industry to discuss financing as a catalyst for the growth of Nigeria’s creative economy.
