I will flush out fake prophets and end fake prophecies in CAC – General Evangelist
Prophet Hezekiah Oladeji, the CAC General Evangelist Worldwide has promised to embark on a crusade to flush out fake prophets and eliminate false prophecies in the church.
The CAC General Evangelist said the church would henceforth constantly monitor prophets within the mission to ensure their compliance with the standards set by the church patriarchs.
Oladeji, who spoke at Apostle Joseph Ayo Babalola Memorial Grounds, Ikeji Arakeji, Osun State at the weekend during his inauguration as CAC General Evangelist Worldwide and Duty Commencement Service, tasked members to join hands in the bid to reawaken evangelism, which is the hallmark of the church.
The firebrand cleric was appointed the fifth CAC General Evangelist five months ago following the retirement of his predecessor, Prophet Samuel Abiara.
Oladeji, who assured that his tenure would witness the rebirth of evangelism, said: “I have already set machineries in motion to bring all evangelists, church planters and roving evangelists under one umbrella. They will be involved in grassroots evangelism at local assemblies and in rural evangelism. Evangelism is the main purpose of the church on earth.
He said: “If we evangelise and turn the hearts of men to God, there will be change of attitude. Today, countries are failing. There are problems everywhere – corruption, killings, maiming, sexual crimes etc. all these will stop if we are able to convert people to Christ. We need steadfastness and prayers”.
The cleric, who said the responsibility of his office was tasking, charged all members and Christians to continue to pray for him and as well the CAC leadership for divine guidance and direction to lead the church aright in the its mission of salvation of souls, deliverance from bondage and opening of doors of prosperity for nations and their citizens.
CAC President, Pastor Abraham Akinosun, who presided over the event which was graced by clerics from various denominations, Christians, traditional rulers and crème-la-crème of society, extolled the virtues of the new general evangelist, who he said had taken giant strides to move the church forward within the few weeks of assumption of office.
