What is the fear of God? The fear of God is to depart from evil. There are many who love God, they’re so passionate about God.
They talk God, they give in his name, some even build Churches for God but they don’t fear God. Sermon Times. They step into sin and say, “oh He will forgive me naa. God is my father. Anything I do he will forgive me. God, I’m going to sin. I will soon come back for forgiveness.” Don’t wait for that day when he may not hear.
David loved God. One day he stepped into sin, took a man’s wife, killed the man and God said, you have crossed the red line. David said, I am sorry. Sermon Times.
God said, “you have crossed the red line. I have forgiven you but you will pay the price in the open for what you did in the secret.”
I fear God o! That’s why when I see sin I run away. Joseph ran away and you know what is his testimony? “I fear God.” The proof of your fear of God is never to touch what the people of the world are touching. Sermon Times.
Stop playing with fornication, Stop playing with adultery, Stop playing with stealing what is not your own. Stop! Your own is waiting for you like I waited for my own and I got my own.
If you’re a pastor, stop touching Church money – it’s not your money. God has your own for you; wait for it! People may mock you for it. Sermon Times.
While waiting for my own people mocked me but I didn’t care about it. I will not touch what is not mine. And when God saw that I will not touch what is not mine, he gave me my own.
Don’t let what is not yours attract your attention. Pastor, don’t touch what is not your own including the girls of God – don’t touch them. Sermon Times. They call you Pastor – remain pastor.
Nothing else! Parents trust you and they say, “pastor, can my child, my daughter live with you?” Don’t touch her.
David touched his soldier who was so loyal to him. God said, “you will not go. I love you David, I know you love me, but I can’t afford to do this.” Sermon Times.
The reason why God’s presence has departed from the Church today is because the Church has departed, put their hands in dirty things. And all we are left with is carcasses of religion. Let’s get back!
