I know how it feels to lose, win election –Opeyemi Bamidele
Senator-elect for Ekiti Central Senatorial District, Ekiti State, Opeyemi Bamidele, said on Monday that he knew how it felt to lose and to win elections, having experienced both.
Bamidele, a former member of House of Representatives, who attributed his victory to divine intervention, said the love of God and the people for him would propel him to work towards meeting Ekiti’s yearning for more dividends of democracy.
The senator-elect, who spoke at his Iyin Ekiti country home on Sunday evening shortly after he was declared winner of the senatorial election by the returning officer, Professor
Jeremiah Omotola, said: “I know how it feels to lose, I know how it feels to win. My heart this moment is with those that we contested the election together”.
