I don’t have any problem with Obasanjo, if has any with me that is his problem- Atiku
Alhaji Atiku Abubakar who served as vice president during the administration of former president, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, has said that he has no problem with his former boss.
The Punch reports that Atiku spoke on Saturday, September 22 during his address to the Nasarawa State Working Committee and delegates of the Peoples Democratic Party.
The PDP presidential aspirant said if Obasanjo however has a problem with him, that’s his problem.
He said: “I don’t have any problem with former President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, but if he says he has a problem (with me) that is his problem.”
Atiku said he would take Nigeria to a higher level if elected as president.
He noted that “insecurity, poverty, and hunger are some of the factors militating against the progress of the country.”
“If elected President of Nigeria, I will restructure Nigeria by empowering the youth, eradicate hunger and poverty, as well as fight insecurity.
Atiku said he would development states surrounding the FCT saying those who work there actually live in neighbouring communities.
In his reaction, the chairman of the PDP in Nasarawa Francis Orugu commended Atiku for his visit and promised that the state would vote for a credible aspirant in the 2019 presidential election.
