How to end terrorism, banditry, economic hardship in Nigeria, By Pastor Adeboye

General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye said if God got involved in the affairs of Nigeria, His involvement would bring an end to terrorism, banditry and economic hardship.

He stated this in a sermon he gave on Sunday, October 3, 2021 to mark the first Sunday’s thanksgiving service.

Adeboye, who reviewed the activities of kidnappers and bandits in parts of the country, said kidnapping traditional rulers was sacrilegious.

According to him: “Traditional rulers are respected; with so much power, aura and majesty.”

He declared that kidnapping traditional rulers was about to come to an end in Nigeria.

He made reference to hie God delivered Israel from the hands of Goliath who terrorised the entire nation for forty days and forty nights and how God got involved using a small boy, David, to silence the enemy permanently.

He declared: “Today, all acts of terrorism and banditry are coming to an end”, a declaration which elicited a resounding Amen from parishioners.

Adeboye cited Exodus 12:1-36, saying “if God gets interested in the affairs of the nation, He will put an end to pandemic.”

He recalled his prophetic declarations that the World was going to convulse and thereafter go on compulsory holidays.

According to him, these incidents happened, pointing out that when the COVID-19 lockdown came, the streets of nations of the world were empty.

“Streets of London, for instance, were deserted. You cannot believe it,” he stated.

Pastor Adeboye continued: “When God is interested in the affairs of a nation, He can speedily turn around the bad situation. He can solve a national crisis overnight.”

He assured the congregants who watched him globally via the church’s Dove Media platform that they should relax as “Nigeria will survive one way or another.”

He added: “Very soon, this country (Nigeria) will be another testimony to the world.”

He recalled how Israel thought they were finished when they got to the Red Sea with army of Egypt in hot pursuit, but realised the following day that they were just beginning after the Egyptians had been buried in the sea.

“Nigeria is just beginning,” he declared, adding “if only we will praise God today as we had never done before.”

Adeboye assured the congregants that God would intervene in their affairs and people would come to them to find out the secret “and you would tell them: I have God and I worship Him in Spirit and in truth.”

He said, in rounding off, that “God settles things only for His people.”
