Hours after attack on Kuje prison, detained Abba Kyari moved out

Detained Deputy Commissioner of Police, Abba Kyari, has been reportedly transferred from the Kuje medium prison, which came under attack Tuesday night.

Abba Kyari is one of the over 800 inmates in the location where he is being kept.

However, notable individuals including Ex-Governors, Ministers, Senators and other celebrities of higher social status have passed through the same facility.

A group of terrorists, on Tuesday night, attacked the Kuje Medium Custodial Centre in Abuja, the nation’s capital with bombs in an apparent move to gain entry into the facility and free some of its members.

A high calibre bomb had first gone off at about 10:25pm followed by a second and third blasts as well as sporadic gunshots that residents into panic mode.
