Hon. Shomide Solicits Council Workers Cooperation To Enhance Success

In order to advance and roll forward the progress wheel of Abeokuta-South local government, Chairman, Transition Committee, Hon. Ayodeji Michael Shomide has sought for the cooperation of the Directors, Heads of the department and other staff in the council.
Hon. Shomide, who assumed office odice immediately after being sworn-in by Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun on Friday, while addressing the staff said that they can only achieve success when staff and members cooperate and allow peace and unity to guide their work.
He said: ” I have not come to pull down, but to build up and contribute meaningfully to the council, and your lives. I therefore charge you to be up and doing and to also cooperate with one another in order to advance the course of the local government.”
Hon. Shomide, who was elated upon ssumption into office, charged the staff to discharge their duty with fear of God, honesty and high sense of responsibility.
However, the chairman urged them to pray for peace, progress and the smooth running of the Dapo Abiodun led administration, assuring  that this government has come to put smiles on the faces of the people of the state.
