Hon. Leke Abejide strengthens security efforts, donates building to Nigerian Army in Kogi

The lawmaker representing Yagba Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Leke Joseph Abejide, has constructed and handed over a building to the Nigerian Army in Kogi State in recognition of the military’s role in maintaining peace and security in the area.

The structure was donated to the Nigerian Army’s 12th Brigade at Chari Maigumeri Barracks, Lokoja, under the command of Brigadier General K.U. Sidi. The gesture was aimed at appreciating the Army’s efforts in safeguarding Yagba Federal Constituency and contributing to the overall security of Kogi State.

The project forms part of Rt. Hon. Abejide’s ongoing commitment to collaborate with security agencies to enhance safety and stability across the state.

According to the lawmaker, the donation underscores his support for strengthening the state’s security architecture, which he described as essential for sustaining peace, development, and institutional modernization within Kogi State.
