Have A Rethink Or Relocate, Ogun Police Command Counsel Criminals, Parades Four Suspects

The Nigeria Police Force, Ogun State Command, Commissioner of Police, Kenneth Ebrimson on Friday advised all would be criminals to either have a rethink or relocate from the state.
The CP gave this warning at the command headquarters, Eleweran, Abeokuta when parading four suspected kidnappers who abducted a newly nominated member of Remo North local government caretaker committee, Hon. Soniyi Taiwo, while returning from an outing on January 10th, 2020.
He hereby sounded that their refusal to do any of the two would lead to total destruction, as the command would be taken the battle to their door step.
While briefing journalists on another landmark recorded within few days into the new year, he stressed that the suspects perpetrated the acts along Fidiwo-Ipara road when the victim was returning from an outing, and that they were arrested upon receiving information by the police tactical team in conjunction with the DPO Isara Division.
Ebrimson noted that the command received information on January 10th, 2020 about the kidnap, and then swung into action immediately.
The CP said: “On receiving information, I directed the DPO Isara division to work in conjunction with other tactical teams in the command to ensure the rescue of the victim unhurt.
“In compliance with my directive, the team swung into action and embarked on technical and forensic investigation as a result of which the kidnappers were quickly geo-located.
“Having realised that the police were closing in on them, the hoodlums released their victim, but three members of the gang were subsequently apprehended as a result of intense combing of the bush where they were traced to.
“Their arrest led to the arrest of the fourth suspect, who was traced to Idi-Ayunre in Ibadan, Oyo State. The arrested suspects are Muhammad Abdullahi, 25 years; Ibrahim Diko, 20 years; Gambo Abdullahi, 25 years, and Mohammed Sulaiman, 22 years.”
Speaking further, CP Ebrimson revealed that the victim upon sighting the suspects identified them as his abductors. “The suspects are undergoing interview and interrogation as their confessional statements will serve as a lead to arrest their fleeing gang members.
“However, I want to use this opportunity to sound a note of warning to all would be criminals to either have a rethink or relocate from Ogun State as their refusal to do any of the two would lead to total destruction. The command will be taken the battle to their door step.”
Meanwhile, upon interview by journalists, the suspects denied the allegation of being the persons that abducted the committee member.
The suspects who came from the northern part of Nigeria claimed to be cattle rearers explained that they had never met the victim.
