Groups protest Hate Speech Bill, Sowore’s release
Protesters on Wednesday stormed the entrance of the National Assembly over the proposed Social Media Bill.
Already, the bill, sponsored by Senator Sabi Abdullahi, had been passed into Second Reading in the Senate.
The protesters, mostly youths, are calling on Senators to kill the bill with immediate effect.
Security agents at the gate are trying to prevent break down of law and order while the protest is on.
