Gov Abiodun Outburst: LRPP Boss Tasks Ogun Government To Apologize To NMA, Residents Doctors

By ABIODUN JIMOH, ABEOKUTA
The League of Registered Political Parties in Ogun State has called on Governor Dapo Abiodun to show courage of leadership by tendering an unreserved apology to the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA), and Ogun State Resident Doctors respectively.
The League Chairman, Comrade Oginni Olaposi Sunday stated this on Monday while expressing his dissatisfaction with the governor’s outburst on these professional for demanding for their rights.
Oginni recognised that some aides of governor Abiodun were with psychopathic behaviours and hence deceived the governor that all is well.
He said: “It’s a bad signal for the governor to start his second year in office with quarrel and disputes with an organized body like NMA.
“It’s worrisome that a government who pretends to have spent so much in the fight against Covid-19 will openly come out to pick a fight with the soldiers needed at the frontline to prosecute the war.
“Gov. Abiodun should not be deceived, Ogun State people are worried about the governor calling certified doctors irresponsible for asking for their rights.
“We are afraid of another constituted authority, if it happened to doctors and we kept quiet, it may soon degenerate to despotism.
“We hereby call on Gov.Dapo Abiodun to do the needful by making sure this situation arrested and nip in the bud. Also, to stop the habit of reading political meanings to genuine agitation and demands of his subjects.
“It’s more healthy and beneficial to the governor to listen to constructive criticism than listening to himself and sycophants around him.”
