First Bank Chairman To Deliver Convocation Lecture At Redeemer’s University

Chairman, First Bank Nigeria Plc, Mrs Ibukun Awosika is expected to deliver the convocation lecture at the forthcoming 12th Convocation Ceremony of the Redeemers University, Ede, Osun State.
The 12th convocation ceremony will commence on Sunday November 8th, 2020 with a special impartation service for the graduating students by Pastor E. A. Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), and visitor to the university through Tuesday, November 10th, 2020, the main convocation day.
Mrs. Awosika, a renowned motivational speaker and management thought leader will deliver lecture themed ‘Entrepreneurship, Agriculture; and Youth Empowerment’ on Monday, November 9th, 2020.
The ceremony promise to be one of its kind in the education sector will be the university maiden virtual convocation on November 10th, 2020 just as the three-day programme will be broadcast through the state-of-the-art media technology backed and powered by the RCCG in 192 countries where its parishes are situated.
According to the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Anthony Akinlo, 448 students comprising both undergraduate and postgraduate will be awarded degrees. the set is christened: Daniel Generation.
He said that the set has been raised as global leaders and change agents imbued with God-fearing attributes; adding that they were specially commissioned to set standards through a continuous commitment to excellence geared towards a transformative impact on society.
“The theme of this year’s convocation lecture is ‘Entrepreneurship, Agriculture; and Youth Empowerment, while the Chairman, First Bank Plc, Mrs Ibukun Awosika, a renowned motivational speaker and management thought leader will deliver the convocation lecture,” he concluded.
