FCSC, Acting HoS vow to enthrone change agenda in civil service

The Chairman of the Federal Civil Service Commission (FCSC), Dr. Tukur Bello lngawa has assured the Acting Head of the Civil Service of the Federation of collaboration that will advance the course of service to the nation.

He gave the assurance when the acting Head of Service Dr. Folashade Yemi-Esan paid him a courtesy visit on Tuesday at the Commission.

According to a statement issued by Deputy Director Press, Babaoye Eniola Felicia, on Thursday, the Chairman of the Commission while welcoming the acting Head of Service expressed his desire to work with her and her team in order to reposition the Federal Civil Service in line with the change agenda of President Muhammadu Buhari.

He said the new leadership of FCSC is ever committed and determined to transform the Federal Civil Service, which is the engine room of Government, for the sustainable progress of the Nation.

He also assured the Acting Head of Service that the Commission will continue to remain Open to collaborate with the Head of Service on all issues that will advance the progress of the Service and the nation at large.

Earlier in her address, Dr. Folashade Yemi-Esan sought for synergy between the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation and the Federal Civil Service Commission, to work hand in hand in order to succeed in improving the Federal Civil Service.

While emphasizing the need for the two bodies to cooperate and work together in order to achieve the aim of re-positioning the Civil Service, and to ensure no gap is allowed in the course of progress, she said without the cooperation of the Federal Civil Service Commission, the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation cannot succeed.

In attendance were the Hon. Commissioners, Permanent Secretaries and Directors from FCSC and HOSCSF.
