Etche Community Host CTC Chairman Hon. Garshon Ahunanya To A Reception; Thanks Wike
Hon. Garshon Ahunayah, the Caretaker Committee Chairman of Etche Local Government was recently hosted to a rousing civic reception by the good people of Umuanyagu community shortly after his swearing in ceremony at the Government House in Port Harcourt.
Dignitaries from within and outside Etche LGA were at the reception to celebrate Hon. Garshon whom most of them described as a humble and God fearing man. A man they say they trust to guide the LGA to an enviable position in the State.
The Paramount Ruler/Ochimba was among those who spoke at the event, he prayed for the success of the administration and urged the chairman not to relent in introducing value based leadership to the people, he also enjoined him not to allow the corruption and greed of mischief makers to deter him from his important task.
The Paramount ruler further said, he saw the clarity of thought, sharpness of purpose, resoluteness of action and genuineness of concern to serve the people of Etche in Hon. Garshon Ahunayah and urged the people to support the chairman.
The CTC Chairman, Hon. Garshon Ahunayah on his part thanked the Governor of Rivers State Nyesom Wike for finding him worthy of the appointment and then thanked the people for honouring him and promised that everyone will be carried along as he moves to reposition the LGA for growth and development.
