The Management Board of Neuropsychiatric Hospital, Aro Abeokuta, Ogun State has disclosed that the hospital premises was never attacked or vandalized by hoodlums during the #EndSARS Protest that cut across the country.

Dr Agboola Afis, Provost and Medical Director of the hospital declared this in a press statement made available to newsmen in Abeokuta on Friday to debunk the attack as being spread in social media.

Dr. Agboola stated that the said attack mentioned never happened to the foremost and prestigious psychiatric hospital in Nigeria, but that the unfortunate incident actually happened to a sister hospital named Federal Psychiatric Hospital, Calabar, Cross River.

He said: “This sad event that occurred in Cross River is very troubling and condemnable by all. The hospital management and entire staff of Federal Neuropsychiatric Hospital Aro stand with the management and entire staff of Federal Psychiatric Hospital Calabar, Cross Rivers State.

“We pray for a quick resolution of all issues raised before and after the protest in the country. May God heal our land and bless Nigeria, amen.”
