Emir of Daura Endorses Tinubu for 2027 Presidency

The Emir of Daura, Alhaji Umar Farouk Umar, has expressed support for President Bola Tinubu’s potential re-election in 2027. The monarch made this statement during a condolence visit by First Lady Senator Oluremi Tinubu to the family of late President Muhammadu Buhari.

The Emir assured the First Lady of Daura Emirate’s unwavering support for President Tinubu’s administration, stating, “President Tinubu is our choice for 2027. We remain solidly behind him and will continue to support his administration to succeed.”

During the visit, the First Lady led a delegation of prominent women, including wives of National Assembly leaders, governors, and ministers, to pay their respects to the late President’s family. They offered prayers for his soul and visited his gravesite, where a brief prayer was observed.

The First Lady praised Buhari’s legacy, describing him as “an accomplished patriot who made his family, hometown, state, and nation proud.” She commended his discipline, sacrifice, and national service.
