EFCC invites Ekweremadu over Case of conspiracy, Abuse of Office and money laundering

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC has invited Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu over a “case of conspiracy, abuse of office and money laundering”

The invitation was coming barely 24 hours after the Senate President, Bukola Saraki was invited by the police over Offa robbery case.

The letter with reference number CR.300/EFCC/DCPS/VOL.49/40 dated 24 July 2018 and address to Senator Ike Ekweremadu.

The titled: Investigation Activities: “CASE OF CONSPIRACY, AVUSE OF OFFICE AND MONEY LAUNDERING’.

Reads : ” The Commission is investigating the above mentioned case in which your name featured prominently and the need to obtain certain clarification from you became imperative .

“In view of the above, you are kindly requested to report and interview the undersigned of at 5 Famela Street off Adetokunbo Ademola Crescent Wuse II Abuja Tuesday 24 July, 2018 at 10am prompt”
