ECOWAS Parliament lauds FG for their support

Speaker of the Economic of West  African states ECOWAS Mustapha Cisse lo said the Parliament will continue to do its best for the sub-region especially with the support and commitment it has so far enjoyed from the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari towards enduring successes in ECOWAS Parliament.

“ We are grateful to president Muhammadu  Buhari for his kind gesture towards the Parliament, he has given us a plot of land and promised to build a permanent site for the ECOWAS Parliament “.

The speaker of the ECOWAS Parliament made this statement during the extra ordinary session of the ECOWAS Parliament in Abuja.

Mustapha Cisse lo also said the issue of insecurity especially during the elections in Benin  pose a  big concern especially to democracy. “ we condone with families of those who lost their lives in the attacks”.

He further express commitment towards addressing the issue of migration, youths unemployment, single currency, insecurity and other issues that need urgent attention and promised that the Parliament will continue to work towards ensuring an ECOWAS that will be focus on the people of the sub-region.
