Easter: President IGS old Student Association felicitate with Christians, Nigerians

The National President Ilorin Grammar School Old Students Association Alabi Folorunsho Owolabi has felicitate with all Christian Faithfuls on the celebration of the resurrection of the Jesus Christ.

Folorunsho who also is the Chairman Board of Governor, IGS, Ilorin in a statement made available on Sunday said the Easter celebration which comes during the Muslim Holy month of Ramadan is an affimation of possibilities of the hope in unity and faith, peace and progess in Nigeria.

His words; “As we celebrate this year Easter, I felicitate with all our Christian faithfuls and friends on the celebration of the resurrection of Jesus christ of Nazareth.
“As the Christians Easter celebration comes during the Muslims Holy month of Ramadan this year, it is an affirmation of possibilities of the hope in unity & faith , Peace and Progress in our land, as we all believe that in unity tolerance and togetherness ‘Progress is guarantee’.
“While I pray for continuous progress quality health and peaceful understanding for all Ilorin Grammar school old students family relations and indeed Nigerians home and abroad, I futher pray to God Almighty for the restoration of Peace and security to our nation.
“As we just concluded the general election that’ll usher new Executives and legislative and for those that will commence another term , I pray for God’s guidance for our leaders , spirit of understanding and supporting for we the followers , so as to continue enjoying peaceful coexistence in our land.
“Let us all cooperate with ourselves forgive each other and be our brothers keeper. HAPPY EASTER & RAMADAN KAREEM
