DSS Warns Public Against Impostor, Victor Onyedikachi Godwin

The Department of State Services (DSS) has cautioned members of the public against engaging with one Victor Onyedikachi Godwin, a dismissed staff of the Service who is allegedly using its name to defraud unsuspecting Nigerians.

In a statement issued by the DSS on Monday, the agency disclosed that Godwin has been involved in various unscrupulous activities, falsely presenting himself as a serving officer to extort money from individuals.

The Service advised the public to avoid any form of transaction or contact with the dismissed officer, stressing that his actions do not represent the DSS or its operations.

“For requests, enquiries or complaints, members of the public are advised to contact the Service directly on 09088373515 or via email at dsspr@dss.gov.ng,” the statement added.

The DSS reiterated its commitment to safeguarding national security and protecting citizens from fraudsters exploiting its name for personal gain.
