Dr. Hope Omeiza Withdraws from House of Representatives Race in Kogi

Dr. Hope Omeiza has formally announced his withdrawal from the race for the House of Representatives seat representing Okene/Ogori-Magongo Federal Constituency in Kogi State.

In a notice made public, Omeiza said his decision followed months of consultations and reflection on his intention to contest the seat.

He described the period as “deeply enlightening and insightful,” noting that the widespread support, trust, and feedback he received from constituents underscored their desire for capable and competent leadership.

Despite the encouragement, Omeiza said he chose to step aside in the overall interest of the people, adding that the decision was reached after heeding “wise counsel.” He pledged to support whoever emerges as the candidate of the government or his party.

The medical professional and politician expressed gratitude to his supporters for their loyalty and urged them to remain committed to the shared vision of improved representation for the constituency.

He also reaffirmed his support for the administration of Kogi State Governor, Ahmed Usman Ododo, wishing success for both the state and its leadership.

Omeiza concluded by encouraging unity and continued dedication among his supporters despite his withdrawal from the contest.
