Dr. Hope Omeiza Declares Interest to Serve Okene/Ogori-Magongo Federal Constituency

Dr. Hope Omeiza has announced his decision to answer what he described as a growing call from constituents to step forward and serve the people of Okene/Ogori-Magongo Federal Constituency.

In a statement issued after what he called “deep reflection and wide consultations,” Omeiza said his decision followed months of engagement with various groups, including elites, technocrats, youths, and elders across the constituency.

According to him, there is a clear and consistent demand for purposeful, responsive, and quality representation that aligns with the aspirations of the people.

“This decision is not born out of personal ambition alone, but out of a shared conviction that our constituency deserves more — more effective representation, more inclusive leadership, and more tangible development,” he stated.

Omeiza emphasized that his ambition would not be driven by political party affiliations but by the collective will of the people, stressing that competence, integrity, and capacity should take precedence over party lines.

He further pledged to lead with humility, noting that he does not claim to have all the answers but is committed to listening, learning, and serving with compassion and integrity.

Calling for unity, Omeiza urged residents of the constituency to seize the moment and work together toward building a better future.

“This is our moment. Let us rise, united in purpose, and chart a new course for our constituency,” he said.
