Dr. Francis Ottah Agbo Crowned Osina Nwata Buru Eze 1 of Ezza Ethnic Nationality
“My Love For The Ezza & Izzi People Is Like That Of Romeo&Juliet” Says the Ozigizaga!
Any where he goes, the Honourable Member representing Ado, Ogbadibo, Okpokwu Federal Constituency, Dr. Francis Ottah Agbo is celebrated with pomp and style!
So, it was not surprising, yesterday, that the Ezza Ethnic group in Ado LGA, Benue State, under the canopy of Ezza- Ezekuna Development Association, crowned the FeedBack Lawmaker as the Osina Nwata Buru Eze 1 of Ezza.
Translated in English, the title means
an ordained king from childhood, a natural king made by God and sanctioned by man, effortlessly, and can never be brought down by any man except God Almighty who crowned him King!
Justifying the honorific title bestowed on Dr. Ottah Agbo, popularly called the Moving Train and the Ozigizaga of Enone Politics, the President General of Ezza- Ezekuna Development Association, Mrs. Perpetual Nkechi Okafor said the title is befitting him because God crowned the Lawmaker King from birth. She stressed that the Lawmaker recognises that early in life and has never ceased touching the lives of ordinary citizens, the Ezza and Izzi inclusive!
She said she will always relish Dr. Ottah Agbo’s intervention in Ezza Community especially in the construction of Adiko bridge in Inikiri, the employment of Ezza and Izzi young people in NDLEA and the protection of Ezza interest!
In his acceptance speech, Dr. Ottah Agbo who doubles as the Chairman of Narcotic Drugs Committee and Spokesman of the Minority Caucus said his love for the Ezza and Izzi people is like that of Romeo and Juliet.
The Talk-Na-Do Lawmaker said his love for Ezza and Izzi was handed over to him by his Ancestors as his great great grand father, King Agbo Otsima Agbara, the first Warrant Chief of Ijigban District, was reputed to have brought the Ezza from Modern day Ebonyi into current day Ijigban District.
“As far as I live, I will protect the interest of the Ezza and Izzi people because my forebears started it and I am only consolidating it with my good deed to them. They have supported me in all elections, I have always won elections here. When they cry, I always cry and vice versa! This is why I say my love for the Ezza and Izzi people are like that of Romeo and Juliet!”
“I have already appropriated money in the 2021 budget for the rural electrification of Ezza communities criss- crossing Rijo- Okwasi- Mbalakwu- Ekile and I am confident that before January 2022, God willing, Ekile Ward will enjoy electricity, Okwasi, Mbalaku will have light. Also, I have budgeted money for the Electrification of Odumoke and Izzi Communities like Onuebor , Offianka, Ndukabi, Ndubam, Ndidenyi, Ogbete, Nwedoga etc.”
The occasion was graced by the Distinquished Senator representing Benue South, Comrade Abba Moro, BSIEC Commissioner, Hon Sunday Agbaji, former Chairmen of Ado LGC, Hon. Agbo Aboh, Hon. Alex Ogaba and Hon. Abel Onazi.
