Defection of Senators: A ploy by Saraki to impeach Buhari, Osinbajo- APC Chieftain, urges Buhari, Tinubu to raise up against the plan
A Chieftain of All Progressive Congress APC has warned President Muhammadu Buhari and all national leaders of the party on the ground that all the drama happening in the National Assembly as aploy to impeach Buhari and his Vice, Yemi Osinbajo.
Speaking with our correspondent, the APC chieftain who pleaded anonymity for now called on Buhari and APC National Working Committee to go and beg Nationalm Leader of the party, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu for not heeding to his earlier against Senate President, Bukola Saraki.
According to him, all what we are seeing playing out was foreseen in 2015 when Saraki “bamboozled” his way into becoming senate president.
He, therefore, warned that both the executive and party leaders’ needs to come together and do something about the issue or else comes September when the National Assembly resume Buhari and Osinbajo will be impeached and Saraki will become the acting President.
“I think somebody will go and call Asiwaju sits him down and apologise to him for not listening to him in the first instance about Saraki.
“Tinubu deserve a serious apology. Those foresights he saw it and said don’t use this man, now we can now see it.
“All what happened at the senate last Tuesday was a step toward impeaching President and Vice President at the same time, so he (Saraki) will become acting President. That is his mission. I will plead with Buhari and Asiwaju not to take issue lightly.
“It pays PDP to see that one of its own will supervise the 2019 general elections. They should not take light all. They should look for a way to remove him, anyhow, he lamented.
He, also blame former APC National Chairman for not listening to Tinubu’s warning and allowing Saraki to be Senate President.
It will be recall that fifteen senators on Tuesday defected to PDP and ADC after it was alleged that police blockade Saraki and Ekweremadu’s residence.
