Declare Miyetti Allah terrorist group, O’odua group write World leaders

…..Says armed herdsmen amassing weapons to launch large scale war

The five members of the United Nations Permanent Security Council have been asked to declare Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria, a terrorist group. The group was established in 1979 with its headquarters in Kaduna though its activities began in the 1960s.

In the letter despatched on Thursday, Apapo O’odua Koya, (AOKOYA) called on the leaders of Russia, United States, China, France and Britain to declare Miyetti Allah a global terrorist group. It warned that the group is the covert political wing and economic pillar of Fulani terrorists. It warned that the group is about to launch a large scale war across Nigeria asking the world leaders to prepare for the consequences. It said the group is the ‘Economic and Political shield and defender of Fulani violent extremism.’

AOKOYA also said that contrary to speculations, there are known 1,045 terrorist cells across the South West apart from the urban guerrilla cells in Yoruba cities, villages and towns which are difficult to count. It said the armed groups are merely waiting to launch Jihad against the Yoruba people.
In the letter the Yoruba self-determination group said Miyetti Allah is linked with the Front de Liberation du Macina in Mali and has been active in violent acts in the North (Logo, Zaki Biam, Gwaska, Bolki, Aila, Abugbe) and in the South (Ekiti, Oyo, Edo, Kogi, Delta, Lagos, Ondo and Kwara States). It recalled that in November 2015, the Fulani militants were named by the Global Terrorism Index as the fourth deadliest known terrorist group in the world noting that it killed 1,229 people in Nigeria in 2014 alone.

The group also launches attacks in Central African Republic (CAR). In April 2014, it killed 200 people in Zamfara , Northern Nigeria in one day. It noted that the Fulani terrorists hide under nomadic movement to commit horrendous crimes against humanity.
AOKOYA said Nigeria is gradually becoming a failed state and that the pillars of the country have fallen the remaining thing being what looks like a violent explosion which the world can prevent by acting fast to ensure ethnic self determination before it is too late.

The letters were sent to the President of Russia, Mr Vladimir Putin, United States President, Mr Donald Trump, French President Emmanuel Macron, British Prime Minister, Keir Starmer and the Chinese President Xi Jinping.

‘War is imminent in Nigeria. Your single action can prevent the war. The first step is to identify the violent actors led by Fulani violent extremists under the canopy of Miyetti Allah. Nigeria is being pushed to war. The country’s political actors are naïve and lack any sense of history.’

It added that with over 200million people, the coming war in Nigeria being fuelled by terrorists is imminent but avoidable if the United National Permanent Security Council members acts fast. It said that the indigenous peoples in Nigeria are dealing with violent extremists whose primitive desire is to conquer territories that does not belong at gunpoint.
AOKOYA said the Fulani extremists are currently busy exterminating the Hausa while also attacking the people of the Middle Belt and the Igbo people of the South East.

The Yoruba people of the South West are intimated, kidnapped and violently raped by the Fulani extremists.

AOKOYA also announced the launching of South West Intelligence Bureau,(SWIB) made up of retired intelligence officers to collate intelligence information and surveillance on activities of armed groups in Oduduwa territories covering Lagos, Ogun, Oyo, Osun, Ondo, Ekiti, Kwara,Kogi, parts of Edo and Delta states. The Intelligence bureau would train locals and community youths on intelligence tracking of terrorists and unarmed combat and legal armed defence. It said that apart from killings, the terrorists burn and destroy traditional forests and sacred streams which greatly imperil the environment and worsen climate change across Yorubaland.

AOKOYA in the letter signed by its two officials, Col Abimbola Sowunmi (rtd) and Ahmed Korede said Miyetti Allah is the political and economic wing of armed Fulani terrorists that have killed no fewer than 10,000 people across Nigeria in the past fifteen years.
‘In the past 15 years, herdsmen terrorists have killed no fewer than 5000 people of Yoruba, Itsekiri descent. They have kidnapped a record 1, 500 people. Some of those kidnapped had their body parts dismantled and sold to organ harvesters from across West Africa. The women were raped while some of them were forcefully married and taken across the Nigerian borders to the Sahel. Victims are largely women and children,’the group said.

It noted that Yoruba people are currently at the mercy of armed Fulani terrorists that have invaded Yoruba forests waiting to launch Jihad in their desperation to turn the entire country into an extreme Islamic state.

‘AOKOYA and Yoruba people will not wait until our people are exterminated. We are alerting the world that the Yoruba people will not fold their hands and watch the ongoing genocide against the people. The time is nigh that the Yoruba people are left with no option than to defend the people and their indigenous land from violence and horror.’
