Dambazzau, Malami and indeed C-n-C should be conscionable- Rep. Chinda

A member of the House of Representatives, representing Obio/Akpor Federal Constituency in Rivers State, Rep. Kingsley Chinda has advised that Attorney-General of the Federation and Justice Minister Abubakar Malami, Minister of Interior, Abdulrahman Dambazzau should step aside to allow for proper investigation.
Reacting to the recall of former Chairman of the Presidential Task Force on Pension Reforms Task Team, Abdulrasheed Maina, Rep. Chinda said both Dambazzau, Malami and indeed Commander –in- Chief should be conscionable.
According to the Chairman House Committee on Public Accounts, Maina’s reinstatement was not an accident, adding that the president would not have reacted if not for public outcry.
“Both Dambazzau and Malami and indeed the C-n-C should be conscionable. They should step aside while the investigation last.
“The reinstatement was not an accident. The President would not have reacted but for the public outcry. They are only protecting their own”.
Speaking further, Rep. Chinda said “the Executive cannot investigate themselves. They have performed very abysmally on Ikoyi orphan dollar issue; the Kaduna Airport orphan dollar; the grass cutting deal; the N26billion NNPC contracts; the Ecological fund utilization among others”.
Mr. Maina, who was in 2013 dismissed by the Federal Civil Service Commission following a recommendation by the Office of the Head of Service, was reinstated as director in charge of human resources in the Ministry of Interior.
Minister, Abdulrahman Dambazau, in a statement by his press secretary, Ehisienmen Osaigbovo, confirmed the recall on Sunday.
The minister however blamed Mr. Maina’s recall on the Office of the Head of Service of the Federation and the Federal Civil Service Commission.
