Court Sentences Fake Lawyer To Three Years Imprisonment

Exactly one week after the arrest of afake lawyer, Adedeji Ebenezer Oluwagbenga, the Itori Chief Magistrate Court has convicted and sentenced him to three years imprisonment without option of fine on August 12th, 2020.
The self acclaimed lawyer, Ebenezer was arrested on August 5th, 2020 at the court while appearing for a client before the bubble burst.
The convict was arraigned before Chief Magistrate, B A Somorin on one count charge of unlawful and illegal appearance as a lawyer, knowing fully well that he was not. 
During the hearing, he first pleaded not guilty to the charge, but later changed his plea to guilty when he was confronted with evidence.
The Chief Magistrate there and then sentenced him to three years in prison with hard labor without option of fine.
The convict was arrested during a court season at Itori Chief Magistrate court when his conduct does not in any way in tandem with the practice of somebody who has been called to the bar which was also noticed by the magistrate himself.
He was subsequently detained at Ewekoro police station from where he was transferred to state criminal investigation and intelligence department for diligent prosecution.
