Coalition of Fulani association opposes Miyetti Allah’s endorsement of Buhari

Massive division has crept into the Fulani race over who to support as the February 16 presidential election approaches, investigations have showed.
Rising from a one-day meeting held in Sokoto, the coalition of Fulani associations from the 36 states of the federation and the FCT opposed Miyetti Allah’s endorsement of President Muhammadu Buhari for re-election.
“We urge our members to disregard the endorsement and elect any candidate of their choice as guaranteed by the constitution,” the association stated in a communique obtained by our Correspondent.
Continuing, the communique said, “President Muhammadu Buhari and Atiku Abubakar are both Fulani and we urge our members to elect whoever shows concerns for pastorals’ plight and their economic development.”
