Chief Imam Of Egbaland, A Conscientious Servant Of Allah – Ogun APC

The All Progressives Congress (APC), Ogun State chapter has described the late Chief Imam of Egbaland, Alhaji Liadi Orunsolu as a conscientious servant of Allah.

In a statement signed by Chief Wole Elegbede, Publicity Secretary of the party in Abeokuta, it stated that Alhaji Orunsolu, who was also the President-General of the League of Imams and Alfas in Ogun, died on Tuesday, May 26, 2020, at the age of 98, and lived a pious life that is worthy of emulation by all.

“We are shocked by the demise of the Chief Imam of Egbaland, Alhaji Liadi Orunsolu. He was a pious and tireless religious leader who set high moral standards and left big shoes that only Allah can help to fill.

“Nevertheless, we take solace that it was Allah that called Baba unto Himself to rest in Aljanna firdaus.

“Ogun State APC extends condolences to the family of the deceased, the Egbaland’s Muslim Community and the entire Muslim jummah in Ogun State and prayed Allah to grant them the heart to bear the irreparable loss,” the statement read.
