CCT fixes Dec. 18 for arraignment of Acting Registrar General of Corporate Affairs Commission

Justice Danladi Umar the Chairman, Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT) has on Wednesday, approved December 18, for the arraignment of the Acting Registrar of the Corporate Affairs Commission, Lady Obiageli Azuka before it.
The 11 count charge borders on alleged infractions of assets declaration, and a summons had since been served on her in-person.
She was alleged to have contravened the provisions of paragraphs 1, 9 and 11 (1) (a), (2), of the fifth schedule, part1 and punishable under paragraph 18 (1) and (2) of the Constitution.
The charges were signed by an operative of the Code of Conduct Bureau (CCB), Musa Ibrahim Usman, the prosecutor on November 20, on behalf of the Attorney General of the Federation.
Similarly, on the same December 18, Mohammed Hussaini Al-Hassan, a Deputy Director in the Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports Development is also scheduled to be arraigned on a two count charge jointly signed by two prosecutors, Omotolani Kolawole and Fatima Danjuma, both of the Code Conduct Bureau.
