A Kano Shari’a Court has sentenced an Islamic cleric, Sheikh Abduljabar Nasiru Kabara, to death by hanging over blasphemy. Kabara, who commands a large followership in Kano, was found guilty of making blasphemous statements against the Prophet of Islam, Muhammad (SAW).
