CACGM holds praise celebration for Apostle Ogbonmwan 70th birthday anniversary
The Christ Apostolic Church of God Mission International (CACGM), Benin City, on Friday organised praise and worship celebration in honour of the Church General Superintendent Worldwide, Apostle (Dr.) Godspower Ogbonmwan, 70th birthday and Golden Jubilee wedding anniversary.
The programme packaged by the ministry was held at the CACGM International headquarters, Jubilee City, Benin City, featured choirs from all the branches of the church, and guest choirs across the country.
Notable clergymen from Edo State, Warri, Lagos and overseas graced the occasion to appreciate God’s goodness in the life of the Apostle, whom God has used to transform many lives worldwide.
Also, the drama group were not left out of the celebration as they rendered short playlet to appreciated God’s greatness in the life of the Apostle, who graduated to the league of septuagenarian in good health.
In his short exaltation from the book of Genesis 4:20-22, Rev. Matthew Ogbonmwan, Superintendent, Foreign Mission, acknowledged that birthday was a recognition of a healthy life given by God to humanity.
“Though, many people asked why do Christians celebrate birthday. It is significant thing that God talked about in the Bible. Life is precious, because He is the givers of lives. Everything Good created is good, and we have to appreciate it,” he said.
