Buhari order the blockage of Sakari, Ekweremadu’s house-Lawmaker, urges Nigeria to defend democracy from being drag into dark days of decree 4

A member of the National Assembly has called on all Nigerians to be on alert and be ready to defend the nation’s hard earned democracy from being dragged back to the dark days of decree 4.

The Honourable member who pleaded anonymity while condemning today’s blockage of both Senate President and Deputy Senate President, Senator Bukola Saraki and Senator Ike Ekweremadu’s house by security operatives said the action is a threat to democracy.

According to the lawmaker, “Available information as at 1:28am of 24th of July 2018 has it that General Buhari has given directive to mobilize Security agencies to National Assembly to prevent R-APC legislators from gaining access to the chambers and to also attempt to change of leadership of both chambers to puppets that will do General Buhari’s bidding.

“The summons issued by the police authority at 8pm last night(Monday),to the Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki, to report to the police today at 8am this morning (Tuesday) is part of this sinister plot.

“The report from a very credible source has it that the legislators who plan to defect to a different party today, which will make the APC a minority party, as gotten the president jittery and uncomfortable.

“GENERAL BUHARI has given instructions that EVERYTHING must be done to prevent legislators from defecting”.
