Buhari Is Neither In hospital Nor Critically Ill – Lai Mohammed

The Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, has maintained that President Muhammadu is neither critically ill nor in the hospital.

He made the assertion during a Town Hall meeting in Umuahia, the Abia State capital.

The Minister who disclosed that he spoke with the President on Saturday maintained that the  Bubari is not under a life threatening situation as being speculated by some section of Nigerians.

Mohammed stressed that there was no cause for alarm as regards the President’s health.

According to Mohammed, ” I can say here very boldly and confidently that there is absolutely no cause for alarm.

“`Mr president called me at 2.43 p.m. on Saturday and we spoke. Lai Mohammed

“If Mr president is in the hospital or is critically ill, as minister of information, I will give daily bulletin on his health.

“Mr president is neither critically ill nor in the hospital and there is nothing life threatening about the checks he is going through.”

Recall that the President is currently on medical vacation since January.

Shortly after he embarked on his vacation, rumour had it that he was dead.

However, Buhari through his media aide, Femi Adesina said his continued stay in London was due to some test he conducted.
