Buhari Constitutes Committee To Resolve APC Crisis

…To Meet APC Governors This Week
President Muhammadu Buhari has set up a committee to reconcile the warring parties in the All Progressives Congress (APC).
A Presidency source hinted our correspondent about the development on Sunday but refused to give details about the committee members.
Our Correspondent gathered the President will also meet APC Governors in Abuja on Monday to review the ongoing leadership crisis in the ruling party.
The President of the Senate, Ahmad Lawan on Sunday visited Buhari and urges him to intervene in the party’s internal crisis.
Recall that two groups are currently laying claim to APC National leadership following the affirmation of Comrade Adams Oshiomole by Appeal Court.
The Deputy National Secretary of the party is claiming to be Acting National Chairman while 16 NWC members appointed Senator Abiola Ajimobi as the Acting Chair of the party. Hilliard Eta (Vice Chairman South-South) was nominated to charge of the party on behalf of Ajimobi who is receiving treatments in Lagos for COVID-19 complications.
