Buhari arrested for theft
The Nigeria Police Command, Nasarawa Division has arrested the duo Salisu Buhari, and his accomplice Zubairu Ali for motocycle theft.
The Police Command, on Sunday, said that its operatives attached to the Division, in a sting operation, arrested the duo of Salisu Buhari, (24 years old) and his accomplice, Zubairu Ali, (27 years old).
According to the command, upon interrogation, Salisu Buhari confessed to have escaped from Kuje Prison when the facility was attacked last year, linked up with his crony, and went into criminal venture.
The arrest was effected on 6/4/2023 about 22: 00 hours.
The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Ramhan Nansel in a statement signed on behalf of the Commissioner of Police, Maiyaki Baba said preliminary investigation revealed that the suspects were responsible for most motorcycle snatching and theft in Nasarawa LGA and its environs.
The statement said that CP Maiyaki Baba had ordered the transfer of the case to State Criminal Investigation Department, Lafia, for exhaustive investigation.
