BUA Cement Rewards Top Distributors at 2025 Awards Ceremony in Lagos
BUA Cement Plc has honoured its top-performing distributors nationwide at the 2025 edition of its annual Distributors’ Awards.
The event, held at the Eko Hotels and Suites Convention Centre in Lagos, brought together key stakeholders, industry leaders, and business partners in a celebration of excellence and partnership.
At the ceremony, outstanding distributors were rewarded with an array of prizes, including cash awards, Sports Utility Vehicles (SUVs), and compressed natural gas (CNG) trucks. These rewards recognised their exceptional performance and significant contributions to the company’s growth over the past year.
The top two distributors each received cash prizes along with two CNG trucks, while other leading distributors were presented with one CNG truck each in addition to monetary rewards.
Ten distributors were also awarded brand-new 2025 Toyota RAV4 vehicles alongside cash prizes. Regional Champions received 900 bags of cement each.
Altogether, 30 distributors were recognised across four categories: Regional Champions, Pacesetters, Powerhouse, and Market Dominators.
Speaking at the event, the Managing Director of BUA Cement Plc, Engr. Yusuf Binji, commended the distributors for their dedication and resilience. He reaffirmed the company’s commitment to strengthening partnerships across its value chain.
“BUA Cement values its distributors and has consistently provided incentives to motivate them to achieve even greater results. We see you, we value you, and we are working tirelessly to improve our supply chain to make your businesses safer and more profitable,” he said.
The Chairman of BUA Cement Plc, Abdul Samad Rabiu, also highlighted the importance of the distributors’ role, describing them as vital contributors to socio-economic development across Nigeria.
“This awards ceremony recognises distributors who have shown resilience and grown with the company through outstanding performance. Their role goes beyond selling cement—they are key drivers of development,” he stated.
Rabiu further emphasised the company’s expansion plans, including the addition of Line 6 in Sokoto and a forthcoming three-million-tonnes-per-annum plant in Ososo.
He noted that these investments would enhance production capacity and meet increasing market demand.
In addition, he announced a N30 per bag bonus for all dealers on volumes purchased in 2025, with a total of N4.5 billion allocated for the initiative as part of the company’s continued support for its partners.
The event also saw the حضور of prominent figures, including leading business executives and industry stakeholders, making it a memorable evening of recognition, celebration, and renewed commitment to growth.
