Kogi State Deputy Governor, Hon. Simon Achuba has dumped the All Progressives Congress, APC to the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
Hon Achuba announced to dump the APC this afternoon.
Hon. Achuba (JP) hails from Ibaji Local Government Area of Kogi State and was a two-time honourable member of the state House of Assembly from 1999 to 2007 where he was Deputy-Speaker during his second tenure.
In a swift reaction, the Kogi State Deputy Governor, Elder Simon Achuba has denied online report stating that he has dumped the ruling All Progressive Congress.
According to the Chief Press Secretary to the Deputy Governor, Sylvester Akor, the rumor is wicked and coming from the pit of mischief makers.
He said my Boss Elder Simon Achuba is still a loyal member of the APC and has no plan, as is been thought by those who do not mean well for the state that he has dumped the APC.
Recalled that the Kogi state deputy governor has had running battle with his boss, with many alleging that the relationship is no longer cordial.
According to sources available to the Nigerian post, the Deputy governor last collected salary in February, with his impress stopped since March.
