Breaking: TVC sacks 145 staff

No fewer than one hundred and forty five staff of Television Continental TVC is reported to have been sacked by the management.

According to available report, the staff, from across the country, were sacked on Friday morning.

They were said to have been invited to the head office of the station in Lagos on Friday, where they were told of the development.

Run by Continental Broadcasting Service, the management of the station was said to have prepared for any backlash by having security men on standby.

CBS is also the parent company of Radio Continental.

TVC is reputable for its general news, politics, business and current affairs programmes.
